Work-From-Home: A Temporary Solution or A Permanent Change?

Twitter employees are allowed to work from home permanently, as Jack Dorsey announced last week.

“The past few months have proven we can make that work. So if our employees are in a role and situation that enables them to work from home and they want to continue to do so forever, we will make that happen.”

The tech giant was one from the first companies to go to a work-from-home model, and it seems that it’s working pretty well for them!

“We were uniquely positioned to respond quickly and allow folks to work from home given our emphasis on decentralization and supporting a distributed workforce capable of working from anywhere,” the company said in a blog post, as Polarity Technologies learned from The Guardian.

We won’t be surprised if more tech companies follow.

Amazon extends its work-from-home policy until at least October, where Google and Facebook extend its policies into 2021.
