This is Google’s New Social Networking App
After Google+ shutdown, Google is making an almost immediate comeback with Shoelace.
Shoelace, which is available only in NYC at the moment, is a new social networking app through which users can get notify about local events and activities, and also schedule their own. Based on their listed interests, Shoelace recommends to them activities (called ”Loops”) that suit their preference.
According to The Verge, ”Shoelace is currently in an invite-only testing phase on iOS and Android, but you can fill out this form if you’d like to get involved. You need to have a Google account to sign in. Unfortunately it’s also only available in New York City at the moment; the team says it’s hoping to expand to more cities across the US soon”.
