Eightpoint Picks: Nightlife
Besides Cayman being a top destination for beaches and resort life, there is a great deal to be explored at night. We asked the Eightpoing office for some of their favourite spots for a good time and as a result, we have compiled a list of the best nightlife spots to hit-up on the island
Lonestar has been a stalwart landmark on the Seven Mile Beach corridor for the last 32 years. It has a long-standing reputation as a popular drinking spot to refresh after work or play. Also, it’s one of Cayman’s biggest sports bars with 30 TV screens! There isn’t a bad seat in the house for watching all your favourite games. At Lonestar, every day is a special day with their weekly events calendar.
The intimate lounge is a popular Friday night dancing spot, transforming from a trendy eatery to an equally trendy dance floor in half the time. The resident DJ, DJ R.K.M, sets the tone to the weekend with the latest music while the skilled bartenders see to it that your well of expertly crafted drink never runs dry.
Located in The Strand, The Lodge is central to Cayman’s nightlife scene! The Lodge is the Island’s go-to spot for entertainment. Their three dedicated rooms have a dance floor, entertainment space, and multiple flat-screen TVs. The Lodge offers one of the most diverse social experiences on Island!
This beachfront hub offers more than a lively atmosphere and panoramic views of the Caribbean blues. On days when the cruise ships are in port, Royal Palms transforms into a playground for holiday-goers and locals. Poolside DJs entertain guests perched in private cabanas and bottle service available to those so inclined.
