A New Auto-Delete Tool Will be Launched by Google
Google currently allows users to manually delete their search history including their activity in YouTube and Maps.
Google will soon launch a new tool which will allow users to enable automatic history deletion of data between 3 or 18 months old.
According to BBC, ” The search giant has faced scrutiny over the personal data it collects. In November, it was accused of tracking where people went even when they had switched off location history.”
Location tracking and browsing history will be deleted automatically after a few months, if this is what user wants. However, the automatic data removal will not apply on YouTube watch history and voice commands through Home and Assistant.
